CCTV User Group

Implementing the New Regulations

Monday 18 – Wednesday 20 May 2015

Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth

We’ll be attending this year’s CCTV User Group in May, will you?

We live in interesting times. Whether or not the general election heralds a new Government, there’s certain to be new standards, Codes of Practice and procedures for Public Area CCTV evolving post May.

Public Area CCTV Managers will face major challenges in making the changes and this year’s conference aims to bring us all together to work out how to implement these changes. Indeed, recent events show Privacy implications will be competing with Public Security, both in terms of potential terrorism and Cyber hacking of your systems. We for one will be there absorbing, learning and influencing where we can.

There’s sure to be plenty of food for thought with presentations, case studies, workshops and discussion forums on:

  • The Regulation of CCTV & Code of Practice & latest developments on CCTV Standards
  • Information Commissioner’s New Updated Code of Practice & Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Beginning the Compliance Procedure
  • CCTV and Counter Terrorism
  • How safe is your CCTV from Cyber Hacking?
  • An EU project “LASIE” & CCTV & Face Snap to identify people in multiple offences

We hope to see you there, but if not, watch out for next month’s newsletter, when we’ll share what we learnt.
