Veracity extends reach with new Milestone partnership agreement

Veracity’s latest partnership agreement marks another step forward in our story of continuing expansion. Indeed, by partnering with industry-leading video management software provider Milestone Systems, we will not only improve functionality and performance in the CCTV Command & Control Rooms of our existing customers, but both parties will also be able to extend their reach by entering new markets.

Founded in 2000, and with operations in the UK and India, Veracity Systems is now part of the Veracity Group, a leader in IP transmission & surveillance storage systems. Veracity’s highly customisable, open integration Command & Control suite, VIEWSCAPE, is the perfect platform for the Milestone video management software. The integration will allow CCTV Control Rooms to automatically pull live and recorded video feeds, apply a specific date time stamp and assign incidents as evidential footage.

“In essence, we will capture Milestone alarms/events within the VIEWSCAPE platform and allow a workflow to be written against each incoming alert/alarm,” explains Veracity’s India’s Vivek Kumar.

Founded in 1998, Milestone Systems is a global industry leader in open platform IP video management software. Its XProtect platform delivers powerful surveillance that is easy to manage, reliable and proven in thousands of customer installations around the world.

With support for the widest choice in network hardware and integration with other systems, XProtect provides best-in-class solutions to video enable organisations – managing risks, protecting people and assets, optimising processes and reducing costs.

Veracity’s COLDSTORE storage system is also a recognized Milestone Partner Solution for video storage, providing high-capacity with low total cost of ownership and of course is fully integrated with VIEWSCAPE, – integrated security platform.

“We are proud to be integrated with Milestone – an industry leader VMS – and this integration opens a lot of doors for both companies to work together on complex projects where a true Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system is required along with a feature rich Video Management System (VMS),” concludes Vivek Kumar.

fr8Watch doesn’t sleep

As you will have no doubt heard in the news of late, UK law states that it is the drivers’ responsibility to ensure that their vehicles’ seals have not been broken into and that migrants haven’t entered their vehicles illegally. Awareness though, is not enough, it is action that changes lives and we have taken action to engineer a state of art intrusion detection solution that takes away any doubt for drivers and their employers by providing a fail-proof, always on, real time, monitored intrusion detection solution, called fr8Watch.
