vemotionWhite rose collaboration to help make the world’s CCTV systems operate more effectively

Thirsk based Vemotion has today announced another major strategic partnership deal with icomply of Leeds.

Vemotion Managing Director Stewart McCone sealed the deal with icomply Business Development Director Michael Gallagher, which will see Vemotion customers able to take advantage of icomply’s next generation V-TAS Pro PSIM integration platform, which is already being used by Samsung Techwin and others to allow seamless control of the product range through V-TAS Pro software.

V-TAS Pro provides a centralised security platform which enables a wide range of security applications, such as intruder detection, vemotionbuilding management and fire systems to connect concurrently on a common interface. It is designed to provide integration solutions for a wide range of market sectors, from government and retail, to transportation.

“Vemotion has been working behind the scenes with icomply for some time now so we are very pleased to be able to now go public on our working relationship,” said Stewart McCone, Managing Director of Vemotion. “These arrangements don’t happen overnight and we have been working hard to ensure the capabilities of our joint technology platform and will be working together on several public space security projects going forwards.”

“icomply work to find solutions for clients rather than impose technology on them and Vemotion works in much the same way,” said Michael Gallagher, Business Development Director of icomply. “There are two sides to any business relationship and I have known Stewart for over four years and we have a great working relationship. The technology has dovetailed perfects and when we have needed help Vemotion has been there and likewise, we have been there for Vemotion too.”

Both companies have been developing next generation technology that is only now becoming more widely known and while not ‘new’ to Vemotion and icomply, is new to the media and the market. icomply is expanding its integration portfolio which now includes several hundred OEM technologies, from advanced IP cameras and VMS solutions, to access control, intruder and perimeter protection systems and the innovative V-TAS Pro software delivers integration solutions at their best.

“As a business, we are always working on the next big thing, but while we are always looking ‘beyond the curve’ you cannot introduce new products until the market is ready to accept them,” explained Stewart. “Many of our new developments on wireless technology and live streaming work well with icomply and I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with Michael and his team on some of these exciting products in the weeks and months ahead.”

Vemotion’s innovative wireless video transmission know-how can deliver live CCTV footage from almost any remote location. The technology means that CCTV cameras can be set up in isolated areas and transmit images back to a command centre anywhere in the world and what is more, doesn’t rely on a fast broadband connection to do so.

“Vemotion’s extensive product range entirely complements the open platform integration that we actively promote at icomply and we are looking forward to taking this partnership forward to our mutual advantage,” added Michael. “We do lots of other bolt-ons to our products and Vemotion’s help here has proved invaluable. We will be announcing more detail of our work together and our joint technology platform as we continue to work together in 2015.”
