icomply will be exhibiting at IFSEC South Africa for the first time.  Having attended IFSEC International for the last we-don’t-know-how-many years, we’re very excited to be attending in a brand new country.

We’re returning to South Africa after a very successful integration project with Vox Orion in Centurion, South Africa.  The independent telecommunications operator carries out remote offsite monitoring with Guardian Eye, a command centre designed to monitor businesses premises via CCTV. Vox Orion currently has about 7, 000 customers in the medium to large corporate sector, and the Vox Telecom group in its Data Pro division has a further 16,000 customers.

The Guardian Eye command centre integrates surveillance, intruder detection and identification recognition into one head-end using the icomply software, V-TAS Pro.  When an alarm is generated, V-TAS Pro receives the alert and initiates a connection to surveillance devices located in the area.  The software provides a user-friendly, efficient front end for the many different devices coming in to the command centre.  Our incident reporting function creates detailed, manageable reports that are automatically emailed out to customers.

Guardian Eye solves security related problems in businesses, such as the high cost of on-site guards and ineffective patrolling.  Vox Orion are striving to place at least 50 new customer sites with an average of 8 cameras per site on its remote monitoring platform per month.

Vic Hugo, Guardian Eye Divisional Manager, commented “The icomply V-TAS system has given Guardian Eye the opportunity to deliver a top class monitoring and reporting service to its clients, with the peace of mind that the system is stable, robust and that it will not let us down.”

IFSEC SA is held at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, Johannesburg.  icomply are exhibiting with Fibre Based Integrations on Hall 2, Stand L04/25, 19-21st June.  Come to say hello and find out about icomply software.
